Understand roles and permissions in Leader24
Leader24 uses a role system to control access to features.

Role Changes
Only the Owner can change member roles. Admins cannot change roles.
Owner
The Owner is the organization owner:
- Has all permissions
- Only one who can delete organization
- Manages billing
- Only one who can change roles
Admin
Admins manage daily operations:
- Create and manage agents
- Invite new members
- Full access to conversations and leads
- Can only remove Members (not other Admins)
- Cannot change roles
- Cannot delete organization
Member
Members have limited access:
- See only assigned agents
- Access to assigned agent conversations
- Cannot modify configurations
- Cannot see Invitations tab
- Ideal for operators and support
Change Role
Only the Owner can change roles:
- Go to Organization > Members
- Find member
- Click on actions menu
- Select Edit Role
- Choose new role
Restrictions
The Owner role cannot be changed. There is always one Owner per organization.
Best Practices
- Limit number of Admins
- Use Member for operators
- Periodically review permissions
- Remove inactive users
