Understand roles and permissions in Leader24

Leader24 uses a role system to control access to features.

Permissions Table

Role Changes

Only the Owner can change member roles. Admins cannot change roles.

Owner

The Owner is the organization owner:

  • Has all permissions
  • Only one who can delete organization
  • Manages billing
  • Only one who can change roles

Admin

Admins manage daily operations:

  • Create and manage agents
  • Invite new members
  • Full access to conversations and leads
  • Can only remove Members (not other Admins)
  • Cannot change roles
  • Cannot delete organization

Member

Members have limited access:

  • See only assigned agents
  • Access to assigned agent conversations
  • Cannot modify configurations
  • Cannot see Invitations tab
  • Ideal for operators and support

Change Role

Only the Owner can change roles:

  1. Go to Organization > Members
  2. Find member
  3. Click on actions menu
  4. Select Edit Role
  5. Choose new role

Restrictions

The Owner role cannot be changed. There is always one Owner per organization.

Best Practices

  • Limit number of Admins
  • Use Member for operators
  • Periodically review permissions
  • Remove inactive users
