Upload documents and information to make your agent smarter
The Knowledge Base is your agent's memory. It contains all the information it uses to answer questions.
Supported Content Types
Documents
- PDF - Manuals, catalogs, guides
- DOCX - Word documents
- TXT - Plain text files
- MD - Markdown files
- JSON - Structured data
- CSV - Tables and lists
Limits: 10MB per file, max 5 files per upload
Web Scraping
- Enter your website URL
- The AI automatically extracts content
- Navigates internal links from the navbar
- Select which pages to include
How to Upload Documents
- Go to Agents > [Your Agent] > Settings > Documents tab
- Click Upload Documents or drag files
- Wait for processing (progress bar)
- Verify documents have been indexed
Document Processing
When you upload a document, the system:
- Extracts text from the file
- Splits into chunks to optimize search
- Analyzes content for semantic understanding
- Indexes the content for fast search
Progress is shown in 4 phases (0% → 60% → 70% → 95% → 100%).
Website Scraping
- Go to Agents > [Your Agent] > Settings > Scraper tab
- Enter the main site URL
- Click Scan to analyze the navbar
- View detected links
- Click View Internal Links to explore
- Select pages to include
- Start scraping selected pages
Scanned pages are shown in real-time with status and word count.
Best Practices
- Upload updated and relevant documents
- Remove outdated information
- Use text-based PDFs (not scanned images)
- Organize FAQs in question-answer format
- Regularly update the content
Document Management
For each document you can:
- See name, size, upload date
- View the number of generated vectors
- Delete the document (also removes vectors)
Troubleshooting
Document not processed
- Check file format
- Verify size is within limits
- Try re-uploading
Agent doesn't find information
- Verify document has been processed
- Check that the information is present
- Try with different questions
