Create an Agent
Step-by-step guide to create your first AI agent
This guide will show you how to create a new AI agent for your organization.
Prerequisites
Before starting, make sure you have:
- Admin or Owner access
- Information about your business (name, description)
- Documents or a website to extract information from
Creation Steps
Step 1: Configure the Agent
After logging into the dashboard:
- Go to Agents in the sidebar
- Click New Agent
- Fill in the required information:
- Agent name: What you want to call your assistant
- Company name: Your business name
- Company description: A brief description (used to generate the AI prompt)
- Primary language: The language for responses
Advanced Options (Optional)
Expand the "Advanced Options" section to configure:
- Response length: Short, Medium, or Long
- Timezone: For correct date and time handling
- Lead definition: Criteria to identify potential customers
- Data to collect: Information to ask users for (e.g., email, phone)
Step 2: Import Data from Website
If you have a website, you can automatically import information:
- Enter your website URL
- Click Analyze Site
- Select pages to include
- Confirm the extracted data
This step is optional but recommended for more accurate responses.
Step 3: Upload Documents
Upload documents that your agent will use to respond:
- Drag files into the designated area or click to select
- Supported formats: PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD, JSON, CSV
- Limit: 10MB per file, max 5 files per upload
Complete Creation
Click Create Agent to finish. The system will:
- Automatically generate an AI prompt based on your information
- Index uploaded documents
- Prepare the agent to receive messages
Drafts and Continuation
If you exit the wizard before completing, the agent is saved as a draft. You can resume creation at any time from the agents list.
After Creation
Once created, you can:
- Configure the prompt - Define agent behavior
- Upload documents - Enrich the knowledge base
- Connect WhatsApp - Enable the WhatsApp channel
- Configure widget - Enable the website channel
Best Practices
- Use descriptive names that identify the purpose
- Be specific in the company description
- Create separate agents for different use cases
- Start with a simple configuration and iterate
